Good morning and Happy New Year! We are starting off 2024 with new beginnings.

We will have the Association of Writers & Writing Program Conference & Bookfair 2024 posted later today for any updates. To know more about the AWP, please visit their website, www.awpwriter.org.

Not familiar with who is releasing new albums this month, but we know Green Day is the only one we recognized that is putting out new tunes. By the way, we are revamping our music section for sure.

A few days ago, I just read that a lot of copyright works are already in the public domain, which began on January 1 of this year, including Mickey Mouse, the black and white version, you know the Steamboat Willie version. Mickey is not the only one that one in the public domain either. To read more about it click on the New York Times article here. Sounds like a podcast subject to talk about.

I’ve been working on what events in art will be available for this month, so we are looking to reach out to the art audiences on what exhibitions happening around the globe. I’ve discovered the National Gallery of Art website with an exhibition, In the Library: Latin American Architecture in Circulation starting this month January 8 until April 26, 2024. The National Gallery of Art is location in Washington D.C. I will post these on the blogsite.
