First, we have The Arts in Society Research Network. This group, described in their website, “offers interdisciplinary forum for discussion of the role of the arts in society.“

“It is a place for critical engagement, examination and experimentation, developing ideas that connect the arts to their contexts in the world – on stage, in studios and theaters, in classrooms, in museums and galleries, on the streets and in communities.“

Now that you are familiar with the network, they have an upcoming conference at the end of May, called The Art of Hospitality. The dates are May 28-30, 2025, location is at the Center for the Arts in Society, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA.
