Hello all and everyone, hope everyone is well. I’m not at my best, but I am determined to get this post out of the way. I was going to add gaming news, but I will do that tomorrow.

I want to do a review of this game called Amenti, that came out in January of earlier this year. I played it and now I’m gonna give you my absolute blunt, short, and honest opinion.

Set in Egypt, a photographer breaks into the tomb to explore and take a photo of Pharaoh Rudamon’s remains. Soon he is overwhelmed by a curse and other sinister things that he encounters. Then you add that maybe aliens were involved with the pyramids.

I have some positive things to say about this game and some negatives. The positives are the designs. The first thing I always pay attention to is the design. The design on the game is great. It does have its shortcomings, but that’s ok. I found myself looking at the small details, the way the light hits and colors…Now some may disagree, but in my opinion, it was one of the positives. Keep in mind this is a horror game so there were some jump scares that I expected and some I didn’t. The one I didn’t expect, well yeah it got me.

The negative thing is that I wish it was longer. Amenti was about an hour, maybe a bit less. The puzzles were less challenging to me.

So basically, this game as a whole was ok, but I expected more.
