It was founded in 1998 by the China Folklore Photographic Association and was blessed with UNESCO’s support since its 2nd session in 2000. Transport allowances will be provided to more than 66 prize-winning photographers so they can attend the Award Ceremony in China, and related events that last for 3 to 6 days. 6 Grand Award winners will also receive cash prizes of US$2,000.
