11th Annual “Landscapes” Online Art Competition

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery seeks entries for the gallery’s 11th Annual “Landscapes” Online Juried Art Competition, July 1-31, 2021. The “Landscapes” theme will be the artist’s interpretation and depiction of the natural world, outdoor scenery, geographical environments, scenic vistas, and related landscape subjects. Artists, regardless of where they reside, are invited to apply to this competition by submitting their best abstract or representational art. $14 for 1 to 2 entries / $24 for 3 to 5 entries. Figurative 2021 | Online Juried Painting Competition

Camelback Gallery announces a call to artists. Cash Award + more to Best in Show. All award winners receive a 3-month online exhibition, social promotion & award certificate. Jurors: Howard Hartman, Marie McCallum, and Linda Lindus. Open to all artists 18 years and older. All painting mediums allowed including drawing mediums and digital painting. (For this competition, digital and drawing mediums are categorized as a “painting”.) Artwork must be representational and clearly depict a human art form as a real-life image. The artwork may be any style, including abstracted shapes, however, a human form(s) must be present in the painting. A “Full Body” image is not required, however, it should not be a portrait of just the face. Academy Center of the Arts Annual National Juried Photo Exhibition

Academy Center Of The Arts in Lynchburg, VA seeks entries for a juried photography exhibition, September 3-25, 2021. Over $3000 in Cash Awards. Juror: Bob Schamerhorn. Open to U.S. residents, 18 years or older. Photographs must be original photographs or photographically derived work, and not done under supervision. All work submitted must be suitably prepared for installation. The curator reserves the right to deny entry if any work is deemed not suitable for display or too difficult to install. Magic of the Ordinary

The Pop Art Movement challenged traditional fine art values and brought art based on popular culture and everyday items into the mainstream. Gallery Underground in Arlington, Virginia announces a national all-media call to artists for a juried art exhibition seeking interpretation of the theme “Magic of the Ordinary.” $500 in cash prizes awarded. Juror: Lois Ward Wolford. It is typical of the ordinary and every day to be overlooked, as it can be seen as commonplace or dull. However, magic can be found in the ordinary when it is interpreted as art. Harper College in Palatine, Illinois announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, September 20 – October 28, 2021. Purchase awards, possible solo exhibition at Harper College. Juror: Carrie Johnson, Executive Director/Curator, Rockford Art Museum (RAM), Rockford, IL. Small Works is a national juried show of artwork no more than 24″ in its largest dimension (including frame). All media are eligible except jewelry and film/video. Seattle Erotic Art Festival seeking art of all mediums for 19th annual show

All artists 18 years and older are encouraged to submit finished works of erotic visual, literary, store, performance, and installation art for the Seattle Erotic Art Festival, October 29-31, 2021 at the Seattle Center in Seattle, WA. The Foundation Award: one piece of art is purchased by the Pan Eros Foundation and the artist is invited to the following year’s Festival. Indigenous, Black, and/or gender non-conforming artists are especially encouraged to apply. The Smithtown Township Arts Council seeks entries for a juried art exhibition, August 7 – September 5, 2021, at the Mills Pond Gallery in St. James, New York. The Magic Wand Pleasure as Art Competition is an open invitation to artists nationwide to design a one-of-a-kind art piece using 100 inactive Magic Wands. Maximum commission up to $10,000. The finished art piece is intended to inspire observers to think about the celebration of pleasure and the joy the Magic Wand has brought to millions of people over the last fifty years. Physically, the art piece may be a sculpture, flat arrangement of the required products, or any combination of the two. Mixed media and additional elements are acceptable so long as the parameters outlined on our website are met. This exhibit is for artists who do not reside in the state of Georgia in the United States. The exhibit will feature chosen artists for the purpose of exposure, exhibit, and sales.
