40th Annual Long’s Park Art Festival

Labor Day Weekend, Friday – Sunday, August 31, and September 1, 2, 2018

 

Applications will be accepted now through March 1, 2018.

This Labor Day weekend (August 31, September 1 & 2, 2018), over 11,000 art lovers will make their way to beautiful Long’s Park to shop for fine art and high-quality crafts. Set in an historic tree-lined park where booths follow walkways surrounding a tranquil freshwater lake, this top-rated show draws sophisticated, high-income buyers from Philadelphia, Baltimore, Central Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, Washington, DC, New York, and beyond thanks to the quality of its exhibitors and extensive marketing throughout the region. Photowork ’18: 31st Annual National Juried Photography Exhibition

The Dutchess County Art Association & Barrett Art Center seek entries for a juried photography exhibition, February 10 – March 24, 2018, in Poughkeepsie, NY. $1,000 Juror Prize, $250 Second Prize; $125 Third Prize. Juror: Jason Wambsgans, 2017 Pulitzer Prize Winner for Photography. The show embraces reinvention, wherein artists provide a juxtaposition of traditional styles and cutting-edge practices in dynamic imagery. The show celebrates photography’s role as fine art and prescient social commentary.
