5.20.2020 Hello again…Hope everyone is doing alright. We are diving into tv and I’m just catching up. Ruby Rose has exit the CW’s Batwoman…I haven’t watched the show nor do I care about it, but this is a surprise. I was wondering how Mr. H Reviews thinks and his response is priceless… That, in my opinion, was the only thing going on with television, now let’s get on with theater. National Live Theater has another great play coming tomorrow on their YouTube channel, this time with Vic Young’s A Streetcar Named Desire with Gillian Anderson. For those who have dabbled into screenwriting for film or television and would like to push further into the industry, this may be for you. Short notice, yes, but better late than ever! Credit source: Humanitas     ENTRY DETAILS In 2010, Executive Director Cathleen Young created NEW VOICES with the vision of discovering, developing, and launching a new generation of talented writers under the mentorship of Hollywood showrunners and studio partners. Every year, NEW VOICES selects up to six writers through a rigorous selection process. Candidates are asked to submit a script and participate in personal interviews. Once matched with a mentor, the writers have three months to further develop their script under their mentors’ supervision. After the script is honed, HUMANITAS sends it to a partnering studio or network executive. The winning writers are given recognition at the annual awards ceremony and are awarded with a $7,500 grant. …

8.18.2020 It looks like the tv is going to keep us entertained until the Coronavirus or CORVID-19 is at bay. As some of you know HBO’s Westworld Season 3 premiered on March 15 and I found a video from Variety featuring the two most important people behind the series.
