Best of 2018: Art

12.29.18 Reached the end of Best of 2018 and that is Art. I haven’t seen a lot of it this year, but in 2019 I will make up for it! Here is a small list of art museums who in my artistic opinion that had exhibitions that showed some really great art. Plus, there is an article from Vulture by Jerry Saltz.  Metropolitan Museum of Art NYC Delacroix French painter Eugène Delacroix (1798–1863) was one of the greatest creative figures of the nineteenth century. Coming of age after the fall of Napoleon, he reconnected the present to the past on his own terms. Delacroix produced an extraordinarily vibrant body of work, setting into motion a cascade of innovations that changed the course of art. AT THE MUSEUM: THE METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART

March 21, 2014 FRIDAY!! I know a lot of you have waited for Friday to come…I have been waiting too. Esquisses heads to New York City to visit the infamous Metropolitan Museum of Art. This museum has been around for a very long time and to me it’s one of the most familiar places to visit in Manhattan. Founded by John Taylor Johnston on February 20, 1872, (142 years!) the Met has exhibited and collected art works from around the globe. Here are some exhibitions that are being held at the Met.
