Best of 2018: Art

12.29.18 Reached the end of Best of 2018 and that is Art. I haven’t seen a lot of it this year, but in 2019 I will make up for it! Here is a small list of art museums who in my artistic opinion that had exhibitions that showed some really great art. Plus, there is an article from Vulture by Jerry Saltz.  Metropolitan Museum of Art NYC Delacroix French painter Eugène Delacroix (1798–1863) was one of the greatest creative figures of the nineteenth century. Coming of age after the fall of Napoleon, he reconnected the present to the past on his own terms. Delacroix produced an extraordinarily vibrant body of work, setting into motion a cascade of innovations that changed the course of art.
