A variety of class options provide an enriching and flexible experience to all participants, including daily reading pairings or intensive study. Pedagogy workshops, master classes, participant performances, largely conducted reading ensembles, and the Chamber Concert Series, featuring daily performances with our professional artist quartet-in-residence, and notable faculty members from leading university musical instrument performance programs, round out this remarkable Camp.

The theme for 2018 is “Fearless Pioneering.” Please click on the Repertoire tab above for more information about the theme and the repertoire that will be studied in the Large Conducted Ensembles.

For information about the structure of the camp, types of ensembles, including the date and time for check-in, times for workshops, master classes, and specific campus information related to Chamber Camp, please see the Schedule tab above and click on the schedule link. The schedule and information are subject to change as we get closer to August.

**While Adult Chamber Music Camp officially ends Saturday evening after the quartet performance, some rehearsal spaces remain open Sunday morning (Aug 19) for optional coaching sessions. Participants electing this option must form their own groups and must make scheduling and payment arrangements on their own with faculty members for coaching. NOTE: Coaching fee is $100/hour and is paid directly to the coach.

You can check their website, to check out their programs for music, visual arts, creative writing and more. Once there, click on Adults Art Programs and you’ll see these three programs that are listed. If you live in the area and you would like to try something creatively new, this may be just for you.

January 29, 2014

Hey there art peeps! The week is going by and there is a lot to get done. For the past few months, I have posted about art fairs and festivals. There are some of you that illustrate or draw professionally, for others a hobby or maybe your just starting out. These fairs and festivals are another way of showcasing your hard-earned work. You want people to know about the quality, and don’t be surprise if you have to answer questions about the work. This is where you pretty much do the talking.

I’ve been keen to read advice from some good sites like Artsy Shark and Arts Business Institute. Yes, those are the articles you have seen posted on here. They have a wealth of knowledge about everything about art from illustration, photography, or jewelry making. I like to call these gems of art wisdom. So we got an art fair or festival and some other good stuff!
