Creative Close-Up from The Writer

3.31.2020 Hello everyone! Last day of March and I wanted to get a start with Creative Close-Up. I found a great article from The Writer titled Six Must-Know Tip for Getting the Most Out of A Writing Conference.  Credit source: The Writer Six must-know tips for getting the most out of a writing conference Pack right, plan early and stay connected with this essential advice. PUBLISHED FEBRUARY 14, 2020 1. PLAN EARLY   It’s never too soon to start planning a conference trip. In addition to securing the best deals on airfare and hotels, many conferences offer “early bird” registration fees, meaning savvy attendees can save hundreds of dollars just by registering months in advance. That said, booking early comes with its own risks: Most conferences don’t offer refunds, so those registration fees could be lost if something unexpected comes up in the months between now and the event.   2. PRINT THE SCHEDULE IN ADVANCE   Don’t waste precious conference time figuring out which events you want to attend. Most conferences publish their schedule well …

MidWk Update: Wonder Woman 84 Release Date has Changed

3.25.2020 Hello, again y’all…Got some news about Wonder Woman 84 from the director herself Patty Jenkins, via her Twitter account. It looks like the release date for the upcoming DC film has changed. August 14, 2020, is the date. More info from Mr. H Reviews… Honestly, this is great music to my ears. I’m disappointed about Black Widow, no word yet on when the new release date is on that. I would rather go to a theater and see the movie and it will happen. In the meantime, since we are still in our social distancing, isolating ourselves at home, I thought these videos from WatchMojo and WatchCulture will do.   Comforting isn’t it? More to come this weekend, enjoy your Wednesday, be healthy, be safe, be blessed!   Featured image: Insider
