@ the Museum: Los Angeles

@ the Museum: Los Angeles

January 15 / 16

Good Morning…..Friday is here, the weekend is coming. Shadowbox is back with @ the Museum, but this time I’m not focusing on one museum. Nope, I’m looking and scoping cities for many museums. I’m looking towards the west….Los Angeles is the target. LA is not only the place for entertainment, the capital of LaLa Land, but it’s got cultural things and events as well. This time it’s not one museum, but several.

Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) / 5905 Wilshire Blvd. 323.887.6000 / www.lacma.org

The Getty Art Museum / 1200 Getty Center Dr. 310.440.7300 / www.getty.edu/visit/center/

Hammer Museum / 10899 Wilshire Blvd. 310.443.7000 / hammer.ucla.edu

Museum of Contemporary Art / www.moca.org

  • 250 South Grand Ave
  • 152 North Central Ave
  • 8687 Melrose Ave West Hollywood (CLOSED FOR DEINSTALLATION)
  • Mormon Mesa, Overton, Nevada

The Broad / 221 S. Grand Ave / 213.232.6200 / www.thebroad.org

These are just what’s out there and there are more to visit. If you ever decide to visit or just live in L.A., then why not take a look at what the city has in art. More to come tomorrow so stop by! Enjoy the rest of your Friday….be blessed always!
