Box Office: ‘Avatar 2’ Crossing $500M in U.S., ‘M3GAN’ Scaring Up Great $27M-Plus Opening
Thanks to the two movies, revenue for the first full weekend of 2023 will be up nearly 70 percent over the same frame in 2022.

Lastly, the Evil Dead franchise is back with Evil Dead Rise.
In the fifth Evil Dead film, a road-weary Beth pays an overdue visit to her older sister Ellie, who is raising three kids on her own in a cramped L.A. apartment. The sisters’ reunion is cut short by the discovery of a mysterious book deep in the bowels of Ellie’s building, giving rise to flesh-possessing demons, and thrusting Beth into a primal battle for survival as she is faced with the most nightmarish version of motherhood imaginable.[2][3]
The film was supposed to be released on HBO Max, but the studio decided to have it released in theaters, which is better.
I will not see it…it’s a bit much for me. I will post reviews from other people though.
