Hello and Good Morning! We are now at the final leg of August and getting ready for September, but first the domestic box office has been sluggish. Nothing to gush about except we have new film that won the top spot. The Invitation, a supernatural horror film, came in at the top with a dismal $7.0M. According to IndieWire, simply put, it will only get worse before it gets better. That doesn’t sound promising.
