Materials Hard + Soft Contemporary Craft Competition & Exhibition

The Greater Denton Arts Council announces a call to artists for a juried craft exhibition, May 27-August 27, 2022 at the Patterson-Appleton Arts Center in Denton, Texas. Awards: $1,000, $750, $500, and $250. Juror: Tanya Aguiñiga. Works produced in any of the craft media: clay, fiber, glass, metal, paper, wood, or any combination of craft media, are acceptable. Entries must be the complete work of the submitting artist. Local, national, and international artists are encouraged to apply. Kits or commercially designed works will not be accepted. Cape Fear Studios 11th Annual National 2D Competition

Cape Fear Studios in Fayetteville, NC seeks entries for a juried art exhibition, March 24 – April 19, 2022. Best of Show: $700, 1st Place: $300, 2nd Place: $200, Honorable Mention (3): $50 each. Juror: Dan Beck. Open to all 2-D painting and drawing media, hand-pulled prints, and collage. Photographic Center Northwest (PCNW) in Seattle, WA seeks entries for a juried photography exhibition, April 7 – June 5, 2022. Jurors: Jennifer L. Stoots, certified photography appraiser and photo historian and Liza Faktor, curator and creative producer. How do you capture a vibration? The continual resonance of events of the last two years is felt in ways that are subtle, not always seen. The Chelsea International Photography Competition

New York Art Competitions seeks entries for a juried photography exhibition, January 4-17, 2023 at Agora Gallery in New York, NY. See awardsSee jurors. Amateur and Professional photographers can participate. Professional photographers are the ones who run a profitable business, have a solid body of work, have a number of publications in their name, and earn the majority of their income from photography. Amateur photographers are the ones who engage in photography for pleasure rather than for financial benefit. They enjoy photography on different levels, considering it a hobby. Digital, Analog, Phone images and images taken with any camera are all accepted. Videos are not allowed. The competition does not impose any restrictions in terms of the subject of the submitted photographs. The images may investigate any topic, from regional cultures and travel photography to commercial work and photojournalism. “Skies” Call for Entry – Online Art Show

Colors of Humanity Art Gallery seeks entries for an online art exhibition, March 1-31, 2022 Cash prizes will be given. Additionally, the “Best of Show” winner will be featured on the cover of the show, and largely displayed with an article about them and their work. Other winners will be featured and have similar recognition. Juror: Janelle Cogan. Theme- “Skies” The sky can tell us so much. You can look towards it for hope in seeing rainbows, in fear during storms, for comfort by the moon and stars, and find pictures written in the clouds. 37th Annual Made in California Juried Exhibition

Brea Gallery in Brea, California seeks entries for a juried art exhibition, April 30 – June 24, 2022. First Place: $750, Second Place: $500, Third Place: $250, Solo Show: $350, Director’s Choice: $200, Mayor’s Choice: $100, Popular Choice: $100. This annual juried exhibit showcases artwork from all over the state of California. MICA strives to highlight artists in all stages of their careers and offers them a chance to compete for a number of awards, including the coveted solo show opportunity. Eighth International Call for Entries

The RI Center for Photographic Arts in Providence seeks entries for a juried exhibition, April 21st thru May 13th. $500 in prizes. Juried by Jessica Roscio, Director and Curator of the Danforth Art Museum. Prior to the Danforth, Roscio held positions at the National Museum of Women in the Arts, Washington, D.C., and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Our 8th Annual International Open Call exhibition is an international showcase for contemporary voices in photography, no theme or prompt. Douglas County Art Encounters 2022-2023

Applications are being accepted for this annual juried sculpture exhibit, held June 2022 – May 2023, in locations throughout Douglas County, Colorado (Castle Rock, Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, Parker and Roxborough). Selected artists receive an $800 stipend and an opportunity to win the coveted $1,000 People’s Choice Award and $1,000 Judge’s Choice Award. Open to artists and/or artist teams over 18 years of age. All work must be the result of an independent and/or team effort that is original in concept and not the product of instructional guidance. Any sculpture that is a replica must include the edition and/or conventional description, location where the piece is available, as well as the serial number for that entry. Duplicate sculptures within a 60-mile radius of Douglas County will not be accepted. Any variety of materials may be incorporated, but the project in its entirety must require minimal to no maintenance. Sculptures must be able to withstand the intense sun, snow, wind and temperature extremes and weather fluctuations common in Colorado. “Flower” Online Juried Exhibition

Gallery Ring announces an online art contest devoted to Flowers. Any work in the Still Life genre is also eligible. 2D artwork including photography/digital is welcome. Many awards are available: Best In Show (cash prize, free-entry voucher and juror’s comments), Diamond Award of Excellence, Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald Awards, Crystal Awards and others. Persistence IV: d’Art Center’s Annual National All Women’s Exhibition

The d’Art Center in Norfolk, VA seeks entries for a juried art exhibition, March 19 – April 16, 2022. $950 in awards. Only open to female artists, Persistence is an annual exhibition that features work from artists across the country to celebrate Women’s History Month. This exhibition will feature work in a variety of styles and is open to functional, non-functional, 2D, 3D, fine art, and fine craft in all mediums. Work may be no longer than 60″ in its longest dimension and weigh no more than 50 pounds. Las Laguna Art Gallery seeks entries for an upcoming art exhibition, March 3-31, 2022. Juror: Lori McBride. For this online exhibition we are asking artists to interpret and depict outdoor scenery, and geographical environments’ including Landscapes or Seascapes. Note: All artists who submit to this show will be accepted and have at least one of their submitted works posted and promoted on our website and to our client list.
