Portrait Photography


Mondays 6:30 PM starting April 12 with Starr Alpharetta

In this exciting four-week class, celebrate the art of photographing family, friends and clients to a whole new level of quality. 

Your instructor will guide you in understanding posing, composition, light, shadow and overall effect of a wonderful portrait.  Whether in a home, an office or outside in the park, whether posed or candid — learn the techniques of good portrait photography.  See the techniques that make these images special and create your own in this special class.

No light? No problem!
Add that extra element to define your photography style.

This popular three week class demystifies the art of using your flash to photograph people.

You will learn how to lighten shadows, reduce harsh contrast and brighten up daylight images and also learn about attachments (modifiers) that will improve your quality of light — all the right stuff to create awesome portraiture.

Tuesdays 7 PM starting April 13 with JayAtlanta

Get the hands on experience you need to excel your professional photography skills in this three week class. Your instructor will teach you the ways of mastering and manipulating your own light. Sculpt, modify and control the light you use in this essential class for all portrait, product and studio photographers.

Learn how to bring motion to your photography through video. Get an intensive, hands-on introduction to shooting, lighting and audio.

In this three-week class, you will focus on getting the best video quality on your DSLR or camcorder.

Mondays 7 PM starting April 12 with Dave Online

Tired of unorganized photos and digging through folders to find them?

In this hands-on 3-week class, you will be introduced to the basic workflow of importing, cataloging and organizing your images in Adobe Lightroom® .

The class focuses on the Library Module– your first step to a complete photo management program.
