International Call for Online Art Competition, All Photography/Digital Art

Contemporary Art Gallery Online announces a call to artists for an online art exhibition, January 2-31, 2020. Prizes include Memberships to Contemporary Art Gallery Online, Radio Interviews, Inclusion in the Year End Anthology Publication, and more. Jurors: Sharon Drinkard, Michael Harris, Portia T. Webb, Anissa Harris, Kelsey Hails. All work must belong to the person submitting the application. The art or a print of the original art must be available for sale. 8th International Photography Annual

The Cincinnati based non-profit arts organization and gallery, Manifest, invites visual artists and designers to submit works that incorporate the lens or photographic process in some significant way, including manipulated and mixed processes. INPHA is not a gallery exhibition. It is an award-winning non-profit hardcover publication. Three cash prizes of $1200, $500, and $300. INPHA is open to a very broad range of lens-based and photographic submissions. This is not just for ‘photographers’ and ‘photography’ but also for anyone working creatively in a visual art (or design) field with work that incorporates the lens or photographic process in some significant way, including manipulated and mixed processes. PhotoSpiva 2020 National Photography Competition

The Spiva Center for the Arts in Joplin, MO seeks entries for a juried photography exhibition, March 21 – May 16, 2020. $3,000 total awards; $1,000 for 1st, $750 for 2nd, $500 for 3rd, $150 for Merit X 3, $100 for Honorable Mention X 3. Juror: April M. Watson, Ph.D. PhotoSpiva is open to any amateur or professional photographer in the United States or its territories. Submitted images must be the photographer’s own work, and it is the sole responsibility of the photographer to obtain written releases from any recognizable person(s) depicted. Two-dimensional work derived from any photographic process – traditional, digital, or photo-based mixed media – is eligible as long as the work is original and has never been exhibited at George A. 2020 Midwest Center for Photography Juried Exhibition

The Midwest Center for Photography in Wichita, Kansas announces a call for entries for a juried photography exhibition, February 7-28, 2020. $500 in Director’s Choice Awards, $100 for each category. Juror: Linda Robinson, Gallery Director, MWCP. This is an annual subject-matter based exhibition for photographers to categorize their best photographs to the following genres and compete for the awards: Landscape – Portrait – Interior Space – Documentary – Close-Up. Selected photographers will have their work featured in the gallery and online. Each photograph will be considered based upon the merit of the individual images submitted by each photographer. Photographic call for entry “the imperfect lens”

A Smith Gallery in Johnson City, Texas seeks entries for a juried photography exhibition, March 13 to May 10, 2020. Receptions will be held on March 28 and April 25, 2020, both from 4 to 8pm. A Blurb full-color catalogue of the exhibit with all the accepted entries will be available for purchase. Awards are $325 for Juror’s Selection, $250 for Director’s Selection, discretionary honorable mentions each receiving an exhibition catalogue and $100 for the Visitors’ Award. Juror: Michael Kirchoff, commercial and fine art photographer, Editor-in-Chief at Analog Forever magazine, and Founding Editor for the online photographer interview website, Catalyst: Interviews. Photographers of all levels are invited to submit work reflecting the theme “The Imperfect Lens.” Images captured using toy, pinhole and any camera using homemade lenses are eligible for submission.
