Hello and Hump Day Wednesday is here and I have just one thing to share with you so let’s get started with the Santa Barbara Writers Conference

Every June since 1972, writers from around the
world have gathered at the Santa Barbara Writers
Conference to rub elbows with fellow writers, wellknown authors, and publishing professionals.You’ll
participate in a magical week of intensive work focused on craft, marketing, and networking.
The full conference June 16-21, 2019 includes:
• 5 full days of workshops led by 30 talented teachers
• One-on-one manuscript consultations
• Afternoon speakers and panels
• Opportunity to register for agent appointments
• 5 evening keynotes by well-known authors
• Book signings and chances to meet author-speakers
• Opening night banquet on Sunday
• Poolside cocktail reception
• Awards banquet on Friday evening
• A week of networking, support and camaraderie
SBWC likes to brag about our successful alumni –
Fannie Flagg, Spencer Johnson, Gayle Lynds, Monte
Schulz, Gillian Roberts, Catherine Ryan Hyde, and
Christopher Moore, to name just a few.
Join us this summer for our 47th anniversary, June
16-21, 2019, and become a part of this ongoing literary legacy.
