3rd Annual Colors Art Competition

Fusion Art announces a call to artists for an online art exhibition, February 1-28, 2019. Best in Show winners invited to the 4th Annual Group Show in Palm Springs. Top 5 winners invited to join Fusion Art’s gallery. Juror: Chris Hoffman. For this competition, both 2D and 3D artists, worldwide, are invited to submit their best art and photography using a concentration of colors. The Sunset Hills Parks and Recreation Department invites artists to apply for the Sunset Hills Makers Market, an outdoor juried art and craft fair held April 27, 2019, in Sunset Hills, Missouri and set in the popular Watson Trail Park. We are looking for a diverse group of artisans, crafters, and makers of all mediums and price points including; Clay, glass, metal, fiber, wood, paper, literary, music and more. Great Mills “Hornet” Community Sculpture Project

Great Mills High School (Great Mills, MD) is looking for a sculptor to design and create a sculpture that represents our connection to our community and school. The artist will receive community recognition via newspapers and websites. We are looking for the creation of a sculpture that shares our beliefs and our motto, “Forward Ever, Backward Never.” The sculpture will be placed in the center of the Great Mills High School entrance. Surrounded by bricks with names of those who represent GMHS and tiles made by students and local artists, it will be lit by solar lighting to shine throughout the day and night. We are seeking Sculpture in the Round. Materials must be durable and able to survive extreme temperatures. No entry fee. Deadline: January 28, 2019. Buffalo Creek Art Center artist residency

Buffalo Creek Art Center in Gardnerville, NV is a new summer artist residency for three-dimensional artists in metal, wood, ceramic and multimedia with an emphasis on traditional figurative and abstract works that encompass aesthetics and craftsmanship. Artist ages 18 and older may apply as well as international artists as long as they speak English. The residency starts June 1 and ends on October 30. Artist can choose between a four, six or eight-week stay. Artists will be given free room and workspace and use of all the equipment. This unique thirty-four-acre property includes a vineyard, fruit orchards, 8 ponds, a miniature train station, and hiking trails. 27th SculptFest

Sculptors are invited to submit entries for the 27th SculptFest, held April 26-28, 2019 at Centennial Plaza in Round Rock, Texas. Awards will be made and the City will purchase a sculpture from an exhibitor. This major invitational show will include approximately 80 sculptors hailing from across Texas and throughout the U.S. The show will feature a huge selection of miniature to monumental size sculptures as well as sculpture demonstrations including stone carving and bronze pouring. All types of sculpture will be accepted but will be juried. The City of Round Rock spent a significant amount of money for the 26th SculptFest in April 2018 and the Allen Houser exhibit. Community business leaders and the SculptFest hosts believe that a top sculpture show attracting visitors makes a significant contribution to economic development. Therefore, sculptors are not charged to participate in this event. SculptFest is the first national show to not charge sculptors to exhibit. Deadline: January 30, 2019. More info. Juror: Geoffrey McCormack. Open to artists residing in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. Eligible art mediums: Paintings, Drawings, Hand pulled prints, Mixed media, Fiber & textiles, Small sculptures, Glass, Wood, and Jewelry.
