Editor’s Letter: September 2018

9. 1. 18

Vol. 6 / #9

Hello everyone! September is here. 2018 is going by fast and we have some great stuff to pass along with you.

This was supposed to be posted earlier yesterday, but the wifi has been sketchy. September is the beginning of Fall and after a hot summer, I’m ready for it. The 11th Annual Governors Island Art Fair is starting today on the 1st of September and will continue every weekend of this month. If you’re in the NYC area, you might want to go and see what’s happening. I will post details and information.

Lenny Kravitz, Macy Gray, Everlast, and others are coming with new album releases and like last month, September is teaming with music festivals. KAABOO, Telluride Blues and Brews, and lots more are scheduled for this year.

What’s our next stop for Where To? How about London? Yes, we’re going across the pond into swinging London town to find what you can do there. Out Shadow Spotlight is taking a look at photographers who are bringing their stories through the lenses. Fall will be here sooner than you think and it’s time to see what books we would love to covet this season.

When people find out that you can sketch, draw, or paint, the first thing they ask: Could you do a painting for me? Some of you would love it and some don’t. That’s what Creative Close-Up will focus on.

Fashion, fashion, fashion…I’m digging deep with this since there have been fashion shows going on. We’re going to play catch up on it.

Goodbye August…Hello September!
