Reflections: Inspirational & Motivational Quotes

Reflections: Inspirational & Motivational Quotes

September 28 / 16

One last post for today. I’ve decided that this month’s reflection should be inspirational and motivational. In life, we all need a little something to make our day better. At the university that I work at, I saw post-it notes scattered across the campus with inspirational quotes and you know something? It really made you smile. It just does something for the soul, because let’s face it, we go through a lot on the journey of life. We go through trials and tribulations. There are days when we are up and days when we feel down. So today, I’ve found some quotes that hopefully would put a smile on your face and a warm fuzziness in the soul.

In order to succeed, we must first believe that we can.

Nikos Kazantzakis – writer

It always seems impossible until its done.

Nelson Mandela

Good, better, best. Never let it rest. ‘Til your good is better and your better is best.

St. Jerome

We should not give up and we should not allow the problem to defeat us.

A. P. J. Abdul Kalam – statesman

I can’t change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.

Jimmy Dean – actor

Keep your face always toward the sunshine – and shadows will fall behind you.

Walt Whitman – poet

Try to be a rainbow in someone’s cloud.

Maya Angelou

Happiness is not something you postpone for the future; it is something you design for the present.

Jim Rohn – businessman

Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it.

Steve Jobs

Hope these quotes lift up your spirits. Enjoy the rest of your Wednesday, be blessed.
