How do you become the writer you’ve always wanted to be? It takes a villa.

During this weeklong writing retreat in Tuscany, you’ll find the stories you’ve been longing to tell and poems you’ve always wanted to write. Conferences with John and Mimi will help you shape your writing project and improve your technique, transforming your writing so it becomes as compelling on the page as it is in your imagination. In your free time, enjoy an Italian cooking class, a chat with friends new and old, or a wander through Florence or the Tuscan countryside.

Three meals a day provided, with wine and after dinner drinks each evening. From aperitivo to tiramisu, you’ll enjoy an extraordinary array of bruschetta, risotto, pastas, salads, and local vegetables, followed by homemade desserts, and accompanied by Italian wines. After dinner, enjoy relaxing conversation with your fellow writers over limoncello or Vin Santo. Finish the evening with a quiet walk or hours spent scribbling – the choice is yours.

Writeaways – Writing Getaways and Workshops

Sometimes writers just need to get away.

We created Writeaways to help you do that. We provide writing instruction designed to help writers at all levels, fabulous food and company in beautiful places, and a safe place for you to take a writing vacation with your muse, and maybe a good friend.

For any writer who has been in a writer’s workshop, where fellow writers critique your work with the idea that “we know how to fix it,” this is not that workshop. In Writeaways, you’ll get the support you’ve always needed as a writer – and be able to share that support with others.

You know what to do, just click on the sites above and go from there. Enjoy your Wednesday and be blessed!
