That’s it! It’s good to see The Martian up there, I haven’t seen the film yet, but it’s up there on my catch-up list. There are a few things that irk me. First, I would’ve thought at Idris Elba would be up there in the Best Actor category for Beast of Nations….well let’s just be honest, the Academy has been accused of white-washing. As a matter of fact, check out the Twitter hastag #OscarsSoWhite. Yes, I’m a bit disappointed by not seeing some diversity, but hopefully that will change in the coming years. Jennifer Lawrence is up there with Best Actress, but I don’t see her winning it….nope not a bit, besides I haven’t been paying that much attention to her anyway. She’s all over the place! What do you think about the nominees?

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and be blessed!
