Creative Close-Up: Finding Your Creative Niche

September 28, 2015 Niche:  A position or activity that particularly suits somebody’s talents and personality or that somebody can make his or her own. Whenever you create something, doesn’t matter if its painting, photography, or music, you want to put your own stamp on it…in other words you want to put your very own creative niche into the work. It’s all about finding your creative niche. You know your personality is like, for some artists, they put that aspect into their work. What they put on canvas, paper….not only is it a part of their personality, but also what they’ve experience in the past few years. They can’t go on painting or drawing the same thing. Each part of their work has a time period. Someone or something from their past, their present has been a source of creativity. The same goes for singers and musicians. Toronto International Film Festival Review

September 27, 2015 Hello! The Toronto International Film Festival has since passed. I really want to go next year and if that is possible (hope), then as least I can get the chance to see the films getting the most talk. According to an article from The Wrap by Jeff Sneider, there were winners and there were losers, not only films, but the actors and what was going on during the festival. Sorry it took a bit long, but I wanted to get this post right. I’ve read about the films and actors getting great reviews and then some…… First, The Martian, based on the 2011 novel by Andy Weir, is getting rave reviews, especially of course for Matt Damon‘s performance. The film has received positive critiques, some might even predict an Oscar for Damon. We’ll see won’t we? The film will be released on October 2. Beasts of No Nations has received good reviews as well. Directed by Cary Fukunaga, this film is also based on the novel of the same name by Uzodinma …
