AOL PRIZE FOR ILLUSTRATION 2015 COMPETITION
Association of Illustrators (AOI), in partnership with London Transport Museum, has announced that submissions are now and still welcomed for the Prize For Illustration 2015. This year’s theme is “London Places and Spaces.”
The aim is to attract artwork for display that is colorful, inspiring, and celebrates a vibrant, multi-layered city that is London.
All artworks should be in portrait format. London Transport Museum would prefer that artworks conform to actual or in proportion standard poster sized:
Double Royal – 635 x 1016 mm (25 x 40 inches) or Double Crown – 505 x 760 mm (20 x 30 inches). For this exhibition the sizes are not prescriptive.
You’ll be happy to know, that there is no entry fee!
The competition is open to illustrators and students of illustration from all over the world, regardless whether if you are a member of Association of Illustrations (AOI) or not.
- First Prize: £2000 (approx. $3,300 USD) & display of image on a London Transport Museum poster.

It is possible that your work could be featured on merchandise sold in the London Transport Museum’s shop.
The top 100 entries selected by a panel of judges will be displayed in an exhibition at the London Transport Museum that will open from May and will run until August 2015. The winners will be announced at a private award ceremony in early May 2015.
