REFLECTIONS: TAKE A BREATHER

May 31, 2014 Hello again everybody! May is over….getting half way through this year). Summer is around the corner and some of you are already getting ready to take that vacation or holiday away from all the daily mess of life. We all know that stress is the number one enemy. Doesn’t matter if you work in the industrial, corporate, political, even those in the creative community suffer from stress as well. Most people would rather just suck it up and go along with it, but that just make things complicated or worse, you could wind up on a hospital bed…. Take the time to stop what you’re doing, your health is the most important thing you can’t bargain with. Start planning that trip you always wanted, Mexico, Ireland, Fiji….or maybe just drive across the US or better yet a spa. We all need to get away from all. Just to slow down, take the time to enjoy the environment, the moment.  BREATHE!   Advertisements

CHANGES A COMIN’

May 28, 2014 Hello! Afternoon. I just wanted to make this short. I’d said at the beginning of this year there will be changes with this blog. Well you’ll see it this Friday. First, is this theme. I knew this theme would be a temporary one, but in my opinion, it just didn’t do this blog justice. I knew my blog can look a lot better. I’ve searched for more themes to see which one would be better suited and I’ve found it! Second….I know in the long run, I’m going to need some help running Esquisses. I’ve stressed this before and I will do so again. I haven’t come up with how just yet, but that will be solved soon. Lastly, I got some upcoming projects swimming in my head and yes, I’ll share with you, as a matter of fact, you’ll hear it from me by the end of this week! That’s all for now….enjoy the rest of your Wednesday!

MY TRIP TO THE HIGH MUSUEM ATLANTA

May 23, 2014 Hello! How’s everyone’s Friday? Good I hope. I’m enjoying my four-day weekend. During the second Saturday (my birthday) in April, my mom and I went to Atlanta over the weekend. We visited the High Museum of Art and it was really impressive! The High Museum has so many exhibitions, activities…..One of the exhibitions that I wanted to see was Go West! Art of the American Frontier From the Buffalo Center of the West, at the Wieland Pavilion second level, which was held November 3, 2013 till April 13, 2014. It was everything I thought it would be. Each painting, artifacts were displayed with the attention they all deserved. It was like a treasure trove of a once bygone era….sounds corny I know, but it was. I wanted to jump into those paintings just to get a glimpse of it all, just soak it all in! We went to a few other exhibitions as well like, Splendor: The Work of Jim Waters, Abelardo Morell: The Universe Next Door, African Mask/Masquerade: More Than Meets the Eye, …
