HAPPY HAPPY FRIDAY! Let’s head to LA so we can see what’s going on at the MOCA – Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles. The museum was established in 1979. I’m guessing Founder Douglas S. Cramer envisioned a place that would be totally devoted exclusively for contemporary art and he has achieved that goal.
There are many activities and exhibitions featured at MOCA and here’s what they have going on…..
JACOB HASIMOTO’S GAS GIANT / March 1, 2014 – June 8, 2014
SELECTIONS FROM THE PERMANENT COLLECTION / February 2, 2014 – ongoing
And then you have this current exhibition:
Future Exhibitions coming to MOCA:
CINEMA VEZZOLI / April 27, 2014 – August 11, 2014
MAGDALENA FERNANDEZ / September 21, 2014 – February 2, 2015 (information may be subject to change)
MOCA has many other activities such as Art Talks & Lectures, Tours, Sunday Studio, Teen Programs, etc, etc. They also have a permanent collection as well.
