January 11, 2014 Hello everyone! I’m sticking to what I’ve said and I did mention about visiting art galleries across the pond. If you are planning a trip to London for this year or any year, may I suggest visiting the city’s wonderful art galleries….   TATE BRITAIN This gallery holds the largest collection of British art dating back to 1500 to the present. You’ll find modern and contemporary art at the Tate Britain. From Lucian Freud to Damien Hurst. The gallery also has a collection of works by JMW Turner. Admission is free (charges vary for major exhibitions).   TATE MODERN Located on the banks of the Thames, the Tate Modern is said to be Britain’s national museum of modern and contemporary art that is now placed in what used to be the Bankside Power Station. Entrance to the Tate Modern is free, charges for events and special exhibitions. January 4, 2014 Afternoon art peeps! I’ve kept myself warm for the last couple of days, as the weather is turning really cold. There’s some changes going on to this site. I’m letting my readers know and other new followers so you won’t be left in the dark. Besides, I’m not the type of person to leave you in the dust.  I’m sure you’ve noticed already that Esquisser is now Esquisses. I wanted to be just Esquisse, but of course someone has that name, so I added an s to make it better, but esquissers.com is staying….for the time being. To cut down on the work load, I’ve decided to do only one Spotlight Artist each month.  It’s easier for me, plus it gives me time to get a head start to work on them. Art Scene is now Art Scene Newsletter, don’t worry it will still be posted every Wednesday and every other Saturday.  I’m still in the process of working out the kinks of this theme, so patience is key. January 1, 2014 Volume 2/Number 1 Hello and Happy New Year! As you can already see a new theme has been chosen. Still have the same pages, but a lot of fine tuning has been going on the past few days, but I’m not done yet….. A lot of things to talk about in this new month of January. New York Live Arts has a lot of activities going on, plus some art fairs and festivals you need to go, apply or just check out. If your planning a trip to London, I found several art galleries you can check out. Now for those who follow knows how much I love to share about any upcoming events and articles, Arts Business Institute is having their Winter Workshop for two days this month, January 18 & 19.
